Can I advertise my bike using a dealer package as I have more than one to sell?

There are different regulations relating to private sellers and dealer sellers. A dealer must by law make it clear that they are a dealer. If you take a dealer package then you will be bound by the laws and potentially taxes associated with being a registered dealer, which may be different and less favourable to being a private seller.
Can I bulk upload my adverts?

Yes, using our bulk upload feature which you can find in the account section. You can upload a CSV file to add your adverts in one go! Be careful to follow the instructions, these can be found within the bulk upload section.
What happens if I haven’t sold my bike at the end of the period?

We will send you a reminder allowing you to extend your advertisement if you wish. It could also be worth checking and amending your Ad just to be sure you have put all the relevant information needed to attract a buyer. Remember to write your ad so that it would catch your attention if you were looking for your bike and check the price other similar bikes are advertised for. Unfortunately, many buyers will be tempted by a low priced bargain.
Can I check what my ad will look like before I pay for it?

How do I pay for the Advertisement?

Once you select pay for your Ad, you will be directed to a secure page to pay by either credit/debit card or using PayPal.
How many pictures can I load?

You can load up to 15 pictures
Once I sell my bike can I remove the Ad to stop getting contacted?

Yes the function is available to remove your Ad if you sell your bike.
How do I contact a seller?

On the advertisement there is a link to “Contact Seller”, this will allow you to contact them and arrange your next steps with the seller. If you contact the seller, they will get your email address and will contact you directly. Bikedealer4u has no part in the buying/selling process other than bringing you together through the advertisement.
Will my personal details (Name, email, phone number) be shown on the advertisement I place to sell my bike?

No, none of your personal details will be shown on the advert GDPR prevents us from doing so. We will however show the location of your bike (postcode area not address) so potential buyers can decide if they want to travel to your area.
If I sell my bike through another method can I cancel my Advertisement?

If you sell your bike you can mark your bike as sold by logging into your account, going to “My adverts” and marking the bike as sold. You can also disable the advert just in case the seller backs out and you want to enable your advert again.
As a dealer do I need to place all my Ad’s at the same time?

No, once you buy your package you can place your allocated number of Ad’s as you please during the advertising window
As a dealer, can I change my package?

Yes, you can increase your package anytime
Do you do bike history checks?

There is the function available for you to get a bike history check and we would strongly recommend this for added peace of mind
Do you do insurance quotes?
